Excuses is a novel of short stories. The first story is How Many? Carlton respects Shelly as his woman. Now they are forced to deal with their deception in order to save their relationship. And lastly is Wedding Day. The guests are settled, the bridal party is lined up and the groom is waiting at the altar. Tiffany and Blake's wedding is ready to start but everyone is asking the same question. Where is the bride?

I loved all of the stories in this book. Once again I lived through the characters in each story. My favorite story was that of Tiffany and Blake. I had a feeling how the story would end but Deneen A. Connor still managed to surprise me :-)Product details

Four short stories with thought provoking themes of love and betrayal. Deneen is the queen of incorporating funny pop culture references into her material (a treat for pop culture junkies). I truly enjoyed this book and believe that it would make an excellent book club pick.
This was a really good book. I can't wait to read the sequel to The Wedding.
I NEED the next book!!! I would have given u 6 stars but i can't because you left me crying after taking me on an emotional roller coaster. I don't like messing up my makeup!!
This is a great short story book that keeps you reading..The author has a great imagination...I would purchase more books from her.
Let me just say I'm not a fan of short stories.
However I flew through these stories I had to stop myself on the train ride home!!
Deneen has a way of pulling you into the moment, you feel like you're there!
There is one part that I wish I was there whew!!!
Great book I look forward to reading many more of her books!
**Oh by the way if you haven't read Tell Him yet, get it now you won't be able to put it down!
